David joined Purk Advisors in 2010 and works with clients to help plan for their retirements, manage investments and prepare financially for life events. His key practice areas include estate planning, retirement planning, investments and tax consulting. He has more than 30 years of experience working with businesses and individuals in their financial and tax situations.
David received his Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of Kansas in 1978, and he continued his studies at the University of Missouri – Kansas City, where he received his law degree. He is an active member of the American Institute of CPAs ® and the Missouri Society of CPAs. In his community, he serves as the treasurer for the Brentwood Chamber of Commerce, president of the Beta Theta Pi St. Louis Alumni Club and a financial advisory board member of St. Mary Magdalen Parish.
Dave’s three sons are out of the house now, but he and his wife, Ellen, enjoy every opportunity they get to visit them in Atlanta and sunny southern Florida. This past summer they welcomed their first daughter-in-law into the family and are eagerly awaiting news of a grandchild!
